E I V s and Private Service Vehicle - Grant of EV of Permit

"Hereby delegate the power for the grant and renewal of EV of permit in respect of Private Service Vehicle and Educational Institution Vehicles to all the Regional Transport Officers in Tamilnadu State, who are also Assistant Secretaries of the State Transport Authority in respect of Private Service Vehicle and Educational Institution Vehicles irrespective of seating capacity subject to the condition that this delegation shall apply only for the grant and renewal of Extension of Validity of permit in respect of one neighboring region only. The need for the Extention of Validity of permit should be examined and care should be taken in the issue of Extention of validity of permit"
